Evidence, Research, and Global Knowledge Contribution

Lentera Anak Pelangi (LAP) develops and implements all its programs based on field evidence, continuous learning, and reflective practice, to ensure that community-based interventions for children and adolescents living with HIV are effective, ethical, and relevant to the Indonesian context.
For over a decade, LAP's multidisciplinary, community-based mentoring model has been studied through independent academic research from leading Indonesian universities and documented in scientific publications and practice. LAP's approach has also been recognized globally, including through the publication of field stories by UNAIDS and presentations at international forums such as the International AIDS Society (IAS).
At the national level, LAP actively contributes to scientific forums and policy discussions, and consistently implements monitoring and documentation systems to support continuous program improvement. The combination of a long-standing presence in the community, an evidence-based track record, and national and global recognition positions LAP not only as a service provider but also as a knowledge-generating partner in the child- and family-centered HIV response.
